{"id":1281,"date":"2022-07-19T22:01:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T20:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.adfr.it\/dimarco\/?p=1281"},"modified":"2025-04-01T16:00:47","modified_gmt":"2025-04-01T14:00:47","slug":"summer-seasonal-ingredients-to-enhance-the-roman-pinsa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dimarco.it\/en\/notizie\/estate-gli-ingredienti-di-stagione-per-valorizzare-la-pinsa-romana","title":{"rendered":"Summer: Seasonal Ingredients to Enhance Pinsa Romana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE&#039;<strong>summer<\/strong> brings to the table its basket full of colors, aromas and flavors: <strong>vegetables and fruit<\/strong> which are an explosion of vitamins and minerals, ideal for fighting the heat of this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And ours too <strong>Roman Pinsa<\/strong> joyfully embraces the<strong> ingredients of the summer season<\/strong>, ready to be the perfect base for delicious recipes that will accompany us at any time of the day, from snack to dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SUMMER VEGETABLES FOR FLAVOURFUL AND COLOURFUL FILLINGS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aubergines, peppers and courgettes<\/strong> These are vegetables that we are now used to seeing all year round on the fruit and vegetable counter, but it is in the summer that these ingredients become irresistible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are the protagonists of many traditional recipes but can also be the basis for <strong>more gourmet fillings<\/strong>: with a buffalo mozzarella or a fresher and more delicate cheese, they become excellent ingredients for tasty but light Pinse Romane, ideal for a country lunch or a snack at the seaside. If you add to these vegetables the stronger flavor of a seasoned cold cut, you get a tastier recipe, which you can enjoy for dinner with a good craft beer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And let&#039;s not forget that summer is the time when we can finally enjoy tomato puree. <strong>San Marzano tomato<\/strong> which replaces the beloved preserves used during the other seasons of the year. A few leaves of fresh basil, a drop of EVO oil and you get the base for a Pinsa Romana that smells of the sea, holidays and distant memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And to stay on the topic of <strong>leafy vegetables<\/strong>, here are two ingredients that can give great satisfaction at the table: the <strong>chard<\/strong> and the <strong>chicory<\/strong>, to be saut\u00e9ed in a pan with oil, garlic and chilli pepper and placed on a Pinsa Romana with sausage or bacon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the ingredients to be added once cooking is finished, we cannot fail to mention the <strong>rocket<\/strong>, which goes well with cured meats such as bresaola or Parma ham and a sprinkling of flaked Parmigiano Reggiano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About <strong>dairy products<\/strong>, summer is the best season to enjoy fresh cheeses, because sheep and cows, after grazing in spring, produce the best milk at this time of year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FRUIT AND ROMAN PINSA: A UNION OF TASTE YOU DON&#039;T EXPECT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Summer is the favorite time for many to enjoy a good snack or a breakfast based on <strong>fruit<\/strong>: <em>cherries, figs, peaches, apricots, watermelon, melon<\/em> They are thirst-quenching and juicy fruits, to be enjoyed in bites or in delicate jams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Try combining these ingredients with a few squares of simple Pinsa Romana, as if it were a normal slice of toasted bread: add a good coffee or a fresh yogurt and you get a very filling but also light breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And you, which summer ingredient do you prefer to enjoy on Pinsa Romana?<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019estate porta in tavola il suo cesto carico di colori, profumi e sapori: verdura e frutta che sono un\u2019esplosione di vitamine e minerali, ideali per combattere l\u2019afa di questa stagione.
